Fall is the best time of year, and yesterday night my boyfriend and I carved out some scary faces on our pumpkins. But today, I wanted something more for our indoor-decor. Here's the easiest way to get a folky look to your home with a painted pumpkin:
All I bought from the store were two colors of acrylic craft paint; white and gold leaf. 99cents each! And a set of brushes at Michaels costs $4.99. This baby pumpkin worked well, but whatever size suits you ;)
1st. Paint solid white
2nd. Use gold to do stripes or dots, or messy circles!
voila! I also picked up some pine cones and fake leaves to add to the autumn look of our home.
